About Us
The establishment of “Shri Govardhandas Rawal High School” was carried out on the auspicious day of “Akshaya Tritiya,” May 4, 1927, by Shri Mahavir Central Gujarati Primary School and Shri Govardhandas Raval High School (Foundation Society).
In the year 2008-09, the renaming of the Hindi Primary School to “Shri Shantilal Amritlal Thakkar Hindi Primary School” took place. Additionally, in the year 2008-2009, the inception of the “Harjivandas Gopalji Kariya” Junior College occurred.
Education is provided in Hindi and partial English mediums in the Primary and Secondary divisions. The Commerce stream in the Junior College imparts education in Hindi medium.
The motto of the institution is “Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam,” aiming to mold students into cultured individuals. The primary objective is to instill values such as patriotism, religious tolerance, dignity of labor, sensitivity, cleanliness, and time management in students through value-based education, nurturing their talents.
